"Flip or Flop" star Tarek El Moussa is reportedly "extremely jealous" of his former wife and show's co-star Christina getting her first own HGTV spinoff, according to a report Wednesday.

Last month, Christina announced that her new design show "Christina on the Coast" is set to premiere in early 2019. However, a source told In Touch Weekly that Tarek isn't happy and is also worried about his own future.

"He’s anxious about what his future holds while Christina’s career keeps gaining momentum," the source said.

This jealousy has reportedly erupted despite the pair having maintained a friendly working relationship on-screen. But the source says "there’s major competition between them" and that "Tarek’s struggling to find love and feels like good things just fall into Christina’s lap. He’s so bitter."

However, Tarek has not publicly opened up about his feelings about Christina's upcoming show.

Tarek and Christina — who have a daughter Taylor, 7, and son Brayden, 2, together — ended their relationship in 2016. Since then, there have been several reports about their explosive fight during their split.

It’s been nearly two years since Christina El Moussa split from her ex-husband, Tarek, and while the "Flip or Flop" star is in a great place now, the split took a serious toll on her at the time.

In an interview for People magazine this week, Christina opened up about her divorce once again. “I felt like I was drowning,” the 34-year-old said. “I was doing whatever I could to stay above water and just get through the day.”

Tarek and Christina were embroiled in a fight in May 2016 that forced cops to arrive at their home. Many believed the duo split because of the incident, but the former couple called it a "misunderstanding." In December, they announced their split, and the following month Tarek filed for divorce from Christina without specifying a reason.

In the aftermath, “a lot of people were thinking, ‘What’s going to happen?’ Tarek and I were so tied together on everything: real estate, the show, our children, our house. It was so stressful, and everyone was worried that it was going to explode," Christina told People.

While the In Touch Weekly report hints at Tarek's jealousy over Christina's new show and new romantic life, the mother-of-two recently said her ex-husband approves of her newfound romance with boyfriend Ant Anstead.

Last week, the interior designer told Us Weekly: “Tarek likes him. What’s not to like? Everybody likes him. He’s a great guy." She also said that her kids also adore Anstead. "They love him."

Talking about her upcoming show, Christina told People last month: “I’m excited to do my own thing... It’s going to be fun and light-hearted. I feel like it’s a win-win.”

“I’ll be able to do what I like more which is the design part,” she explained. “That’s always been what I’m good at, and people are always asking me to come help them do their house. It’s going to be fun to be able to add my taste, and not have a flip budget.”
