It’s no secret that “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans and her mother Barbara Evans have had their fair share of problems, but the 25-year-old mom recently revealed that she still does not have custody of her firstborn, Jace.

On Tuesday, the MTV star told a fan on Twitter that her mother wouldn’t give her custody of the 7-year-old even though she already cares for son Kaiser, 2, and recently welcomed her third child, daughter Ensley.

One fan tweeted at Evans saying they wished she had custody of Jace and doesn’t understand why Barbara won’t give Jenelle custody.

“She really has no real reason. You will see more into this issue later this season,” Evans replied.

The reality star also revealed that she and her mother “hardly” speak to one another and still struggle with trust issues. “I don’t trust her. I tell her that everyday then she tells me I feel this way cause of David,” Evans told her fans. David Eason is the star’s boyfriend and Ensley’s father.

Barbara and Eason don’t get along very well. During the “Teen Mom 2” aftershow special, the matriarch accused him of kicking her out of Jenelle’s delivery room during Ensley’s birth.

However, Jenelle insisted that her mother wasn’t being completely honest. “Was never kicked out of any delivery room... she says that so people feel pity for her. She ends up arguing with my boyfriend and leaves,” Evans tweeted.

Fans hoping to learn more about Jenelle and Barbara’s relationship will have to read Jenelle’s book. “Wait until my book is released this summer. There will be lots of diary entries of mine as a child and it sheds light on my earlier relationship with my mom,” Evans told her Twitter followers.

“Makes things very clear to me now why I have so much bad thoughts about the way I was raised. I was very unhappy,” she added.
