Elon Musk’s Tesla pickup continues to inspire concept designers as the EV company remains elusive on what the truck could actually look like.

The latest design render is the stuff of imaginations and it perfectly captures Elon Musk’s “cyberpunk” vision and the “spirit of adventure” that a pickup is capable of. The design, courtesy of Georgia-based industrial designer and gearhead Giogi Tedoradze, is described by a report as “the best and most grounded render of Tesla’s upcoming all-electric pickup truck.”

What’s great about the design is that it encompassed Musk’s vision of a massive metal beast, the functionality of a pickup and the aesthetics that clearly show that it is an electric vehicle. Per the report, the design render is stunning and accentuated by a “high ground clearance, its wide stance, its muscular hood, and a fascia that appears to have been inspired by design elements of Tesla’s existing vehicles such as the Model X and Model 3.”

Tedoradze’s version of the Tesla pickup looks like it would do well on rugged terrains, making it seem like the pickup is ready for some off-road activities. His portrayal of a massive electric utility vehicle perfectly portrays Musk’s vision of a powerful vehicle, one that is capable of towing cargo that weighs as much as 300,000 pounds.

Musk has proudly declared that the Tesla pickup will have the functionality that’s at par or even better than the Ford F-150 and could be even faster than a Porsche. Musk’s “cyberpunk” description is said to be so futuristic that not many people are most likely going to like it, which means the company might need to come out with a more conventional design. If so, then Tedoradze’s vision might just be the closest thing to a traditional design.

The pickup, which is now believed to be the Tesla Model B, is sure to arrive within the year and could actually make an appearance in the next two months. Sales of the Tesla pickup will officially roll out in 2021 and will give its competition a run for its money with a starting price of $49,000 to $50,000.
