Tiffany Trump has denied the claims in a new book that she and Vanessa Trump got inappropriately close to Secret Service agents.

Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig's new book, "Zero Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service," is debuting next week, but it is now making headlines due to the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist's claims that former President Donald Trump's youngest daughter and Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife Vanessa became "inappropriately — and perhaps dangerously — close to members of the security detail." International Business Times could not verify the claims in the book.

A spokeswoman for Tiffany denied the allegation, telling Washington Post, "This is nothing more than gossip and is simply not true. Tiffany’s experience with the Secret Service was entirely professional."

In the book, Leonnig claimed that Tiffany "began spending an unusual amount of time alone with a Secret Service agent on her detail" after a breakup, according to the Post. The time they spent together allegedly caused agency bosses to worry about "how close Tiffany appeared to be getting to the tall, dark, and handsome agent," the book alleged.

According to the journalist, the agent was later reassigned to a different job despite Tiffany saying they had no relationship.

At present, Tiffany is engaged to Michael Boulos. She announced their engagement on Instagram earlier this year, a day before her father left office.

"It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael!" she wrote. "Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!"

Vanessa has yet to release a statement about the claim. But in 2018, an unnamed insider told People that her relationship with Don Jr. had been on the rocks long before she filed for divorce from him in March of that year.

"Even before all this Trump presidency stuff started, they weren't good and their marriage was strained," the source said of Don Jr. and Vanessa’s relationship, before noting that they were already "living separate lives."
