"Top Chef"
The "Top Chef" Season 12 judges Tom Colicchio (L) and Padma Lakshmi. Bravo

Next Wednesday’s Season 12 installment of “Top Chef” will have not one, but two A-list guest judges, “Cheers” actor George Wendt and “Shameless” star Emmy Rossum. In “Chefs Walk Into a Bar...” the 12 remaining contestants will begin their challenge by going to one of the two Cheers restaurants in Boston, a bar made famous by the 1980s sitcom of the same name, according to Bravo’s synopsis for episode 4.

In a sneak peek of the new installment, the chefs learn they will be cooking for George Wendt, the actor best known for playing Norm on the program. Their quickfire challenge: To create a tasty bar snack for the TV star.

“Norm!” the chefs cheer after judge Padma Lakshmi's introduction.

“Oh, stop with that,” Wendt playfully tells the group.

“It feels like home!” he added of the challenge’s locale.

Playing on the Boston law that requires all bars to serve food, the chefs will be challenged to push the envelope in making bar-worthy comfort fare. As usual, Lakshmi announces the quickfire challenge winner will be granted immunity.

According to the network’s synopsis, after pleasing Wendt’s palette, the chefs will be challenged by another celebrity, Emmy Rossum, star of the hit Showtime drama series “Shameless.” The elimination challenge will reportedly take place at "Top Chef Masters" alumnus Michael Schlow’s Italian restaurant, Via Matta.

Not only will the chefs have to learn to create a three-course Italian meal, the teams also must get the most orders to win. Unfortunately for the contestants, their meal plans will be thrown for a loop when Rossum reveals she needs a gluten-free diet. With a double elimination on the line, you can bet this episode won't be drama-free.
