Ben Affleck is not planning to propose to Playboy model Shauna Sexton the moment he is out of the rehab, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating that Affleck is planning to wed as soon as he leaves the facility.

According to Radar Online, things were heating up between Affleck, 46, and his 22-year-old Playboy girlfriend and the actor was planning to propose to her the “moment he’s home” from rehab. The tabloid quoted an insider saying “He’s totally in love with Shauna and wants them to live together the moment he’s home, then he’ll make it official with a proposal.”

“They’ve talked about this extensively and Shauna’s full on board with it. To her, dating Ben is like a fairytale and she’s in this for the longterm,” the alleged source continued.

On Saturday, Gossip Cop debunked another report on its sister site National Enquirer which stated that Affleck was going to marry Sexton while “in rehab” as he feels she is a “definite marriage material.” The tabloid had also quoted an insider saying, “He’s anxious to hurry up and get his divorce finalized so he can marry her and they can start the rest of their lives together. He wants her to be the next Mrs. Affleck as soon as possible. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he just went ahead and eloped any day now.”

Gossip Cop contacted Affleck’s representative who laughed off the tabloid’s story.

Radar Online later reported that the proposal will take place the “moment he’s home” and not “in rehab.” Affleck’s representative again went on record to say he’s not marrying Sexton “in rehab” or the “moment he’s home.”

Affleck is still married to Jennifer Garner and hence cannot wed Sexton anytime soon. Though they are close to a finalized divorce and have filed papers a year and a half ago, a judge threatened to dismiss the divorce in case of any more delay in prosecution. Despite this, Garner wants Affleck to work on his health.

“Jen wanted to give Ben the time and opportunity to work on his health and sobriety,” a source recently told US Magazine.

The former couple was spotted heading out with their kids to a church in Pacific Palisades, California, on Sunday.

Affleck has been seeing Sexton following his breakup with “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus.

Last month, Affleck was snapped outside his LA home for the first time since he was taken to rehab by his estranged wife in late August. A car belonging to Sexton was parked in front of his home. This reportedly frustrated Garner. "Jen knows he is back at the house with Shauna and she is so painfully frustrated. She knows he has to do this for himself,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

The source also revealed that Affleck’s friends have worries about his relationship with the Playboy model.

"He had stayed in touch with Shauna the entire time he was in rehab and the people at the facility and friends had huge concerns about it because she isn't sober. She is a huge, red flag to everyone that is trying to support Ben with his process. Shauna is giving him false confidence and that is their biggest concern,” the source said.
