Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are romantically linked after “Friends” reunion has been confirmed.

Just recently, Woman’s Day published a report claiming that “Friends” co-stars Aniston and Schwimmer dated secretly for four years while they were filming the hit NBC sitcom series that aired from 1994 to 2004. It wasn’t the first time they were linked to each other.

In 2019, when “Friends” reunion was still not confirmed, Mirror looked back at the cast’s secret flings. It noted that in 2005, there were rumors that Aniston was dating her on-screen love interest following her split from Brad Pitt. However, it didn’t work out.

In 2010, Schwimmer married British artist Zoe Buckman. Five years later, Aniston married her second husband Justin Theroux. Following their respective splits. Schwimmer was reportedly keen on reconnecting with Aniston.

“David's always held a candle for Jen and has never stopped loving her,” an insider said.

“But it was a case of never being the right time as one of them was always in a relationship after their fling all those years ago.”

However, one should take the report with a grain of salt. Aniston has always referred to Schwimmer as one of her closest friends. Aniston, Schwimmer and their other “Friends” co-stars Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry have remained good friends years after their show ended.

“We’re lucky to actually love each other. We’re really fortunate that there’s not a bad seed in the bunch and yes, we were all really friends and cared about each other and had each other’s backs. We went through some really challenging times personally and were there for each other,” Aniston told Grazia of her “Friends” co-stars in 2015.

“It’s really nice to have five people who can understand what it is that you’re going through… I know we’ll always have a special place in each-others’ hearts for one another, but we don’t all [see each other]. The girls definitely do.”

At the time, she said that she saw Le Blanc and Perry. However, they didn’t see Schwimmer as much because he wasn’t in New York. However, when they are all together, they would pick up right where they left off.

“Friends” reunion has been confirmed in February. So fans should expect Aniston, Schwimmer, Kudrow, Cox, Perry and LeBlanc together again. Each of them reportedly received between $2.25 million and $2.5 million for the show.
