Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may not be getting back together, but that doesn’t mean the “Peppermint” star will stop supporting her estranged husband amid his stint in rehab.

Since their split in 2015, the actors, who share three kids together-Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6-have successfully co-parented their children and have no plans on ending that arrangement.

Even though the “Batman” star is seeking help for his alcohol addiction, Garner plans to stay by his side throughout the entire process for the sake of their children. “After everything they’ve been through, she is going to continue to be there for him when he needs her,” a source told Us Weekly.

“No matter the circumstances,” the insider added.

Although Garner was a key factor in convincing Affleck to get help for his addiction, those close to the estranged couple insist their marriage is over. “Jen just wants Ben to be the best father he can be,” the source explained.

“She wants to give their kids the best life possible,” the insider shared.

A source close to Garner revealed the actress’ children are her top priority and she believes it is important to have her estranged husband present in their lives. “Yes, he does things that piss her off, but she puts her feelings aside for the kids. They both want what’s best for them and have made a commitment to see that through.”

As for Affleck, a confidante of the actor revealed he is focused on turning his life around. “Ben seems to be taking it very seriously,” a source told E! News.

Insiders noted that the 46-year-old is determined to make his third time checking into rehab different from his previous visits. “This isn’t like the other rehabs he has done in the past. This is a residential program, and he is staying on property,” the source shared.

“He is not at the point where he has a lot of freedom or is able to leave. He is doing intense counseling and spending a lot of time in meetings and therapy. He also has time in his day to workout and spend time outside in the mountains.”

Garner and Affleck first filed documents for divorce in 2017. However, the stars have yet to legally dissolve their marriage.
