The latest report that fueled the growing rumors about relationship troubles between Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk came from a tabloid that tried to build a suspense story behind the latter’s missing emerald ring, which she used to wear at all public events. However, the report, which lacked any credible evidence of their supposedly failing bond, was debunked.

The false narrative was spun by Life & Style Magazine – the same outlet which, earlier this month, claimed Cooper and Lady Gaga had started an affair after acting in the movie “A Star Is Born.” And since the actor and his girlfriend prefer to keep their relationship private, rarely gushing about each other in interviews, the unreliable publication once again utilized the opportunity to build on its own story.

Citing their own concocted rumors, an anonymous source claimed the fact that Shayk had chosen to skip her emerald ring when she walked on the red carpet at Germany’s GQ “Men Of The Year” awards in Berlin on Nov. 8 was an ominous sign, signifying troubles brewing in her relationship with her boyfriend.

Instead of directly saying outright what the missing ring meant, the questionable tipster opted to use vague phrases that only suggested something could possibly be wrong.

“There have been a lot of whispers about Bradley and Irina’s relationship ever since A Star Is Born came out,” the unnamed source said. “The fact that Irina ditched her ring at the event raised a lot of eyebrows.”

According to Gossip Cop, the vagueness of the statements made it feel like they were conjured up by tabloid writers looking for an angle rather than a genuine source speaking on record to the magazine.

The rumor-busting site also maintained the fact that the couple was seen spending the Thanksgiving weekend sunbathing in Santa Monica, with their one-year-old daughter, Lea, was proof enough the family was not rattled by any rumors around them.

Not just that, on Sunday, Cooper and his family went for a Russian Mother’s Day lunch in Los Angeles with his “Hangover” co-star, Zach Galifianakis. Also, Shayk told Extra TV how proud she was of her boyfriend for directing “A Star Is Born,” which turned out to be one of the biggest movies of the year.
