Twitter Doesn't Want Amber Heard To Play Rapunzel In Disney's Live-Action Remake Of 'Tangled'

Amber Heard is rumored to give life to Rapunzel in the live-action version of "Tangled" and Twitter users do not approve of it.

There are speculations surfacing on the microblogging site that Johnny Depp's ex could be taking the lead role in Disney's live-action adaptation of "Tangled." The report has not yet been confirmed, but the netizens are already strongly opposing the rumored casting.

"Amber Heard can’t play Rapunzel, she’s to evil, She is an abuser, she’s a liar, she’s a she-demon, she’s a horrible actress, she [ruined] Johnny Depp’s career and she has no look for a Disney princess at all. I would prefer Dove Cameron as Rapunzel because Dove Cameron has princess look," one commented on a tweet featuring Heard's photo next to Rapunzel's.

"Tangled is my favorite movie, Rapunzel is my favorite Disney princess and I do not want Amber Heard to play as Rapunzel, because she is the worst actress, she’s a psycho, she’s a she-demon, she’s a witch and she abused Johnny Depp," another wrote.

"They’re considering Amber Heard to play Rapunzel in the live action remake of Tangled and I am HEATED," a third user added.

"@disneyplus @DisneyMovies @WaltDisneyCo whoever else I need to tag...please tell me you’re not seriously considering Amber Heard for Rapunzel! Are you literally trying to go out of business?" a fourth user asked.

"@Disney please don't CAST Amber Heard as Rapunzel!! Seriously why would you want an abuser in a lead role of a princess movie!! Find a new upcoming actress for the part," a different netizen wrote.

Despite the criticisms about the rumored casting, there are netizens who also believed that Heard would make a great Rapunzel. One netizen praised her hair and said she would be perfect for the character.

"Best hair - Amber Heard's. Just in general. Real life Rapunzel I'm telling you," one wrote.

In related news, Twitter users also reacted after not seeing Heard in Zack Snyder's "Justice League" trailer and in the credits. Many were happy because they didn't want Heard to be part of the film. However, several also said Heard is still part of it and they’re not happy about it.
