Just moments after Kanye West was given access back to his Twitter account, the rapper posted a random tweet that claimed he is the “head of Adidas.”

Not only did West say that he was now running the sneaker company, but he was going to reunite Adidas (ADDYY) with its former Puma (PUM.DE) brand. Puma and Adidas were created as rivals when two brothers that founded the Dassler shoe brand had a falling out, CNN reported.

West went on to call out Puma by saying its designs are “embarrassingly trash.” He said he would “personally design Puma and Adidas and make everything ok.”

Twitter had plenty of reactions for the proclamation by West, who is not the head of Adidas. Kasper Rorsted is still Adidas’ CEO. However, West does have the Yeezy fashion line with the company.

Twitter users weren’t timid about telling West how they felt about Pumas or his Yeezy line. One Twitter user said West "designed clothes and accessories that look fresh out of the trashcan (and tore apart by raccoons while marinating in food waste)."

Another wrote, “Bro do not be dissing puma when you releasing shoes that look like crocs with a crack addiction.”

Others on Twitter remarked how Puma may suffer or benefit from West’s comments. One user pointed out, “Holy [expletive] Puma caught a nuke.”

Another said, “Them stock gon’ sky [rocket].”

Still another Twitter user summed up how Puma might be feeling at this moment by saying, “@PUMA thinking 'what did we do [to] this guy.'”

West also said he wanted to reunite himself with Jay-Z – the two artists have not collaborated since 2011, when they worked on the album “Watch the Throne,” People reported.

Adidas and Puma had not released a comment about West’s post at press time.

Shares of Adidas were trading at $165.72 as of 1:59 p.m. EDT, down 3 cents or 0.02% while shares of Puma were trading at $75.44, down 46 cents or 61% at market close.
