A mysterious, white saucer-shaped object was filmed Saturday by an unidentified passenger from the window of an airplane flying over Seoul, South Korea.

The UFO captured in the video has surprised airline passengers and triggered lively discussion over whether this unidentified flying object is real, or simply another hoax.

The 52-second clip, which was uploaded on YouTube on April 7, begins with the ‘object’ at the bottom of the video. For a while it keeps pace with the plane, but just when the passenger tries to zoom in for a closer look the object disappears from view.

The video was uploaded by YouTube user ‘Crazybreakingnews’, who said: “I don't know, but it looks a little bit strange and not really similar to the other videos. If it's really real and not a fake, it looks like a kind of military drone.”

When the video is magnified the purported UFO image looks like an ivory-colored bowler hat or an upside down plate. So is it just a computer generated hoax from a prankster or a real unidentified object caught on film?

While some YouTube users believed that it’s a UFO of some sort, other users commented that it’s a hoax.

In the last few months UFO sightings have gone up. According to WebProNews, some experts have also said that things such as Mayan apocalypse have caused people to start to see things at an advanced rate.
