"Vanderpump Rules" is currently filming its eighth season and word on the street is a new cast member is already causing a stir. Who's this new cast member, you ask? Meet Dayna Kathan.

The newest member of the "Vanderpump Rules" crew currently works at SUR, the restaurant where the show films. She will join original cast members Lisa Vanderpump, Jax Taylor, Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Kristen Doute, as well as later additions Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Brittany Cartwright, and Lala Kent.

In addition to working at SUR, Hollywood Life was able to confirm that Kathan will be a full-time cast member on the hit Bravo show. A source close to production also spilled the tea on what to expect from the blonde beauty.

“Dayna is coming in hot – she is really tight with Stassi, Lala, Katie, and Kristen in particular and has wanted to be a part of the show for a while now,” the insider said.

"She doesn’t get along with Brittany or Jax so a lot of the drama will center around that," the source added, stating she was also friendly with "James and Raquel," which "Vanderpump" fans know is the recipe to make Jax hate you.

If Kathan looks familiar to fans, it might be because she has previously appeared on the show in the past.

“Fans may recognize her already from last season when Jax FaceTimed Brittany and from Jax‘s staycation at the Mondrian and Brittany called her a whore since Jax admitted there were girls in his room,” the source continued. “It was the episode when they were at Brittany‘s bachelorette party. Expect her to almost be like an additional ‘witch of WeHo.'”

Rumors of Kathan joining the cast first sparked when 29-year-old Kent seemingly confirmed her identity on Instagram over the weekend. In a since-deleted post, Reality Blurb reported that Kent captioned a photo of herself, Kathan and Madix, "Two OG’s & our new bad [expletive]."

Although Kent deleted the photo from her social media, it lives on through Kathan's Instagram.
