While some may believe that opposites attract, Vanessa Hudgens says certain similarities have kept her relationship solid with baseball player boyfriend Cole Tucker.

"We're just like the same, we're very similar, we're very similar. We're such weirdos, it's wonderful," Hudgens told ET in an exclusive report.

The "High School Musical" alum said she "readily" knew Tucker was "perfect" when she met him on a Zoom meditation class during the pandemic.

"Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes," Hudgens told ET. "Zoom, you've got to love it."

"He's just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it's also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I've been making that a priority, and I feel like it's just been making magic happen all the more," she added.

The 31-year-old actress was first spotted with Tucker in November last year at a dinner date in Los Angeles just 10 months after her split with longtime boyfriend Austin Butler. Hudgens herself hinted at the romantic evening with a photo on her Instagram account, where she held up a pink rose in front of the camera saying, "Date night."

Hudgens and Tucker made their relationship official on Valentine's Day. The actress posted a photo of her and Tucker in an intimate pose and wrote, "It's you, it's me, it's us."

The 24-year-old also posted a photo with the actress the same day, saying, "Happy V day."

Hudgens, in an interview last November, told ET's Katie Krause that she wanted a partner who had "similar fundamentals" regardless of whether he was from the entertainment industry or not.

"Your girl's open," she said in the interview. "I feel like at the end of the day, it's just about having similar fundamentals and wanting the same things. Like, I am not picky, really. ... Like, I know what I want and I'm like, if someone comes into the picture and can give me all those things, then great, it doesn't matter if they're in the public eye or not – if anything I prefer them not to be but we'll see, we'll see."
