The Golden State Warriors suspended center Jordan Bell for Wednesday night's game for what they called “conduct detrimental to the team.” While the specific reason was not officially announced, a source told The Chronicle, that Bell had purchased something at the team hotel and had the charge put on assistant coach Mike Brown’s bill without his permission.

What exactly was purchased remains unclear, however, it appears that this was not the first time such an incident took place, The Athletic reported. The team paid for the hotel rooms at The Peabody, but anything else purchased at the hotel has to be cleared by individuals.

According to reports, Brown was alerted to the charge and asked the staff at the hotel about it. After a brief investigation, “it became clear that Bell is the one who put it on Brown’s bill.”

Warriors coach Steve Kerr did not give out much details when asked about the suspension before the game Wednesday.

“The release was self explanatory,” Kerr said, according to Yahoo News. “He was suspended for tonight’s game for conduct detrimental to the team. Beyond that, it’s our business, nobody else’s. We’ll move on.”

Several social media users poked fun at Bell on Twitter, and some went on to say that he had ordered porn at the hotel.
