Ariadna Gutierrez is finally speaking out about Miss Universe host Steve Harvey crowning the wrong 2015 winner — and you won't believe what she has to say. It seems Miss Colombia believes the "Family Feud" host's embarrassing mistake wasn't accidental at all.

Gutierrez, 22, spoke out about the incident for the first time to TMZ, telling the publication she believed it was all intended to boost ratings and embarrass her publicly. Gutierrez added that if that was the goal of pageant organizers, they certainly accomplished it. She said being falsely crowned was mortifying not only for her but for her entire country, along with all the Latinos watching in the audience and at home. She made no mention of who may have wanted to set her up or why, but her comments seem to support previous claims that there was pre-existing tension between other Latina Miss Universe hopefuls and Miss Philippines, who ultimately took the title.

"It was very humiliating for me, but also for the whole country and for all the people not only from Colombia but the other Latinos that were in the auditorium," Gutierrez said.

While Miss Colombia has not yet moved on from the embarrassing, televised moment, Harvey, 58, has done his best to get past it. On Dec. 25, he tweeted a photo of himself posing in front of his pool with the caption, "Merry Easter, y'all!" The message was a clear reference to the Miss Universe moment, which will likely go down in history as one of the biggest pageant mistakes ever.

Although many have chalked up the crowning error to a slip of the tongue, photos of the results card suggest it might not have been Harvey's fault. As International Business Times previously reported, the card was confusingly laid out. In the top left corner is the second runner-up, Miss USA. Below that is Miss Colombia's name next to the words, "1st Runner Up." To the right reads "Miss Universe 2015" is Miss Philippines. The card's release has left many sympathizing with Harvey as the layout is not entirely clear.

The incident occurred Dec. 20 during a live showing of the 2015 Miss Universe pageant. After all facets of the competition had been completed Harvey declared Miss Colombia the overall winner. He was then notified that this was a mistake and quickly apologized to her and the audience, correcting himself and crowning Miss Philippines.
