Although The Weeknd has not addressed his break up from Selena Gomez, it seems like the “Starboy” singer is letting his Instagram account do the talking for him.

Since news broke about the former couple’s split, fans have noticed that The Weeknd has begun to scrub traces of Gomez off of his Instagram account. Although he still follows his ex-girlfriend on the social media app, the “I Felt It Coming” singer has deleted several photos of the actress and has unfollowed her friends and family.

Following the break up, The Weeknd has unfollowed Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, along with her friends like Francia Raisa, who saved the 25-year-old singer’s life by donating her kidney. The Weeknd has also removed Priscilla DeLeon and Jay Cosme, the parents of Gomez’s godson, as well as her assistant Theresa Mingus from Instagram, according to Us Weekly.

The Toronto native has also reportedly unfollowed several fan accounts dedicated to his and Gomez’s relationship. Some fans compared the singer’s social media activity regarding Gomez to how he handled things when he and Bella Hadid ended their relationship in 2016.

When the two went their separate ways, The Weeknd unfollowed the model’s friends and family before eventually unfollowing his ex-girlfriend.

News of The Weeknd’s latest break up comes after Gomez has been spotted spending time with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Since the split, a source told Us Weekly that there is a chance that the “Purpose” artist and Gomez could get back together, but it’s up to the “Bad Liar” singer.

“She was happy with The Weeknd but Justin always has the biggest piece of her heart. This situation is a heartstring type of thing. She has to figure out what she wants,” the insider told the publication.

The Weeknd doesn’t seem to be letting the split get him down. On Monday, the star took a break from his tour and attended a launch party for 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin’s new album, “Without Warning,” according to TMZ. During the bash, the singer was spotted getting close to a female, but sources insist he doesn’t have a new girlfriend.

While neither The Weeknd nor Gomez seem eager to jump back into a relationship, they both seem to be enjoying life after their break up.
