  • The Weeknd dropped his fifth studio album "Dawn FM" Friday and held a listening party in Los Angeles
  • The track "Here We Go… Again" fueled rumors that he's dating Angelina Jolie as it talks about a "movie star"
  • The Weeknd also appeared to reference Jolie in two other songs on the album, "Starry Eyes" and "I Heard You're Married"

The Weeknd may have hinted at his rumored romance with Angelina Jolie in his new album.

The Weeknd, 31, held a listening party for his album "Dawn FM" at Delilah in WeHo in Los Angeles Friday. Several celebrities showed up at the event, including Zack Bia, Madelyn Cline, Luka Sabbat, Lil Baby, Stassie Karanikolaou, Shaq's son Myles O'Neal, Ty Dolla Sign and Lewis Hamilton, TMZ reported.

After his fifth studio album dropped Friday, its eighth track, "Here We Go… Again," quickly received attention as The Weeknd addresses a mysterious new relationship in the lyrics.

"My new girl, she's a movie star," he sings. "I loved her right / Make her scream like Neve Campbell."

He continues in the song, "But I make her laugh / Swear it cures my depressing thoughts / 'Cause, baby girl, she a movie star / Baby girl, she a movie star / I told myself that I’d never fall / But here we go again."

The "Blinding Lights" singer has been linked to Jolie since the two were photographed on a dinner date at celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles in July last year. However, an unnamed source told Page Six at the time that their meeting was likely business-related.

But The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, and the "Eternals" star were spotted at a private concert together a week later and were photographed once again leaving Giorgio Baldi in September 2021.

While he and Jolie never confirmed the romance rumors, The Weeknd may have dropped more Easter eggs in two other songs on his latest album, "Starry Eyes" and "I Heard You’re Married," Us Weekly reported.

"And now you’re my reality / And I wanna feel you close, but you’re defeated, baby / Broken, hurtin’, sufferin’ from a shattered soul," The Weeknd sings in "Starry Eyes." "Let me be there / Let me be there for your heart / Let me be there, I can be there ’til you’re whole / You weren’t touched by a man in so long / ‘Cause the last time it was way too strong."

Meanwhile, The Weeknd talked about seeing someone who is married in the track "I Heard You're Married." He also mentioned that though he likes the woman, the relationship isn't serious and only a fling because she hasn't ended her marriage to another man yet.

"The way you hypnotized me, I could tell / You’ve been in control / You manifested this, but girl, I blame myself / Things I shoulda known / The whispers that I hear," the Grammy winner sings. "These words I need to hear from you / And I know this is a fling / But you’re hidin’ someone’s ring / It hurts to think I’m sharin’ you."

Jolie and Brad Pitt split in 2016 after an alleged altercation during a flight that resulted in the actor being investigated for child abuse. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star was later cleared of all allegations.

Their divorce was finalized in 2019, but the two remain in a custody battle after Jolie alleged domestic violence against Pitt.

The Weeknd, on the other hand, previously dated Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez.

The Weeknd's new album "Dawn FM" features a number of stars, including Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Oneohtrix Point Never, Quincy Jones and Jim Carrey.
