Dunkin’s is launching several new coffee and doughnut items to its menu as it heads into 2021.

New to the coffee chain’s coffee lineup is an Extra Charged coffee that offers 20% more caffeine than any of its classic hot and iced coffee offerings. The Extra Charged coffee, which is made of green coffee extract, will be available hot or iced, starting on Dec. 31 at restaurants nationwide.

Dunkin’ is selling a medium Extra Charged Coffee for only $2 through Jan. 26.

Also new to the company’s coffee menu is the Midnight coffee – Dunkin’s darkest roast ever. The Midnight coffee features a rich, smooth, full-bodied flavor that is all rounded out with notes of cocoa and a dark finish.

The Midnight coffee will available at Dunkin’ restaurants on Dec. 31.

Dunkin’s also unveiled the Explorer Batch coffee blend for a limited time. The Explorer Batch is a medium roast coffee that has dark berry notes that are rounded out with a smoky finish. The coffee beans are from Columbia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Sumatra.

The Explorer Batch blend is part of Dunkin’s Limited Batch Series, which it said will include new coffees throughout the year.

To help pair these new coffee choices with something sweet, Dunkin’ has also introduced a new baked good with the Dunkfetti Donut. This cake donut has confetti sprinkles baked within and is topped with a sweet glaze.

“For the first time in our history, we’re offering the boldest and most diverse assortment of blends and customization options to fuel a new era of coffee at Dunkin’,” Jill Nelson, vice president, Marketing & Culinary at Dunkin’, said in a statement. “From the darkest roast in our portfolio to the most caffeinated hot and iced coffee varieties, we are more committed than ever to keeping Americans running on Dunkin’ in 2021.”
