“Gossip Girl” alum Blake Lively recently revealed her biggest insecurity when she was asked to join a film just a few months after giving birth to her daughter, James Reynolds.

While speaking with Herald Sun, the 28-year-old actress shared that she found it difficult to be confident enough in her body when she was asked to wear a bikini in "The Shallows." “The struggle is that I am doing a movie in a bikini eight months after having a baby and there is a level of insecurity and vanity that comes with that. You don’t want to be the person in the magazines that they are saying ‘ugh, look at her’ rather than ‘wow, look at her,’” she said.

However, even though Lively felt a bit insecure about her appearance, the actress said that she strongly believes that the body of a woman who just gave birth is beautiful. “That’s a shame because there shouldn’t be that negative ‘ugh’ after someone has a baby. Your body is so beautiful. You couldn’t walk a Victoria’s Secret but it’s beautiful in a completely different and incredible way and I do wish I had the bravery to go out there and represent women as they actually look,” she said.

Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child together in Dec. 2014, according to People. Two months prior to giving birth, Lively and Reynolds still couldn’t decide what name to give their daughter. At one point, the actor joked that he wanted to name his daughter Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds.

In other news, Reynolds previously appeared in “Late Night with Seth Meyers” to talk about fatherhood, according to The Huffington Post. He revealed that since Lively was the one who brought James into the world, he feels it is his responsibility to do all of the dirty work like changing the diapers. “A human being will exit your wife, so she’s done enough,” he said.
