Britney Spears is coming after people on social media who have been commenting the “meanest things” on her Instagram photos.

The singer posted a video on Dec. 15 showing off her Christmas tree with the caption, “Happy Holidays friends !!!! I love sharing with you all … but it’s been hard to keep wanting to share because people say the meanest things !!! If you don’t like a post … just keep it to yourself and unfollow that person !!! There’s no reason to ever go out of your way to make mean comments and bully people ___ Stay happy and nice this holiday season y’all and God Bless !!!!!”

Many people showed their support for Spears by commenting on her post touching messages.

“It’s so easy to cyber attack and hide behind their phones and write mean comments, but when they run into in real life all of the sudden they act like they have been such a huge fan and want a picture #haterplease,” said Spears' boyfriend and personal trainer Sam Asghari, as noted by ET Online.

Jamie Lynn Spears also commented with four red hearts showing love to her sister during her difficult time.

“That tree is goals Brit!!! and don’t listen to the hating trolls! You’re a QUEEN and we love you!!!” someone else said.

Other people weren’t as supportive and continued to trash Spears even after she asked people to unfollow her if they don’t like what she’s posting.

“What is on your shirt and you look homeless,” one user wrote.

“All I want for Christmas is for her to get her hair fixed and throw away all crop tops,” another person commented.

“You need a stylist asap!” someone else said.

Spears seems to be ignoring the haters as she has posted twice on Instagram since her initial posting. One post was a selfie where she overlooked the criticism of her appearance with the caption: “Be your own kind of beautiful !!!”
