As it always does, the NBA is taking a break in the middle of its regular season to recognize the game’s biggest stars. The annual All-Star game is this weekend, and as usual, there figures to be plenty of excitement.

Once again, the NBA has moved to a pickup-game approach for roster selection. Players who were voted to the All-Star Game were entered into a special draft where they would be picked by either LeBron James or Giannis Antetokounmpo.

That means it will be Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis instead of the Eastern Conference vs. the Western Conference. LeBron drafted superstars like Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, while Giannis got Steph Curry, Joel Embiid and Russell Westbrook.

As usual, expect a high-scoring game with more spectacle than defense. Team LeBron is a 6.5-point betting favorite over Team Giannis. Regular NBA action will resume next week.
