With the 2021 NFL Draft just two weeks away, Justin Fields might be getting more attention than any other prospect. Five quarterbacks are expected to be picked in the first round, and the Ohio State star has a wide range of possible outcomes.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are all but certain to make Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence the No. 1 overall pick. BYU’s Zach Wilson is likely going to the New York Jets with the No. 2 pick. Then the draft becomes much more unpredictable.

During the 2020 college football season, Fields was considered the second-best quarterback in this year’s class. Now, some mock drafts have Fields still on the board after four quarterbacks have been taken.

The San Francisco 49ers will probably grab a quarterback after trading up to No. 3 overall. The Atlanta Falcons are at least considering taking a quarterback with the No. 4 overall pick.

Fields’ second pro day is scheduled for Wednesday, giving NFL teams one more chance to evaluate the 22-year-old in person. The Jets 49ers and Falcons will all be in attendance, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports. The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, who own picks No. 8 and No. 9, respectively, will reportedly be there. The New England Patriots have the No. 15 selection and will be at Fields’ pro day, as well.

Alabama’s Mac Jones has shot up draft boards in recent weeks and been linked to San Francisco. Jones is a -190 betting favorite to be picked third overall, according to odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. Fields has +160 odds to be the third pick.

Fields is given -116 odds to be taken after the fourth pick, according to FanDuel. He has -106 odds to be off the board by the time the Cincinnati Bengals make the No. 5 overall pick.

There are mock drafts that have Fields going to San Francisco. Other experts don’t believe Fields will make it past the fourth pick. ESPN’s Mel Kiper projects the Patriots to trade up and draft Fields with the No. 10 overall pick.

In 22 games with Ohio State, Fields threw for 5,373 yards, 63 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Fields also had 867 rushing yards and 15 scores on the ground.
