Following a bankruptcy filing by its parent company Ascena Retail Group, tween fashion retailer Justice is now closing more stores and holding liquidation sales.

Justice is shuttering another 23 stores after announcing plans to close about 600 locations at the time of the filing, USA Today reported Thursday. Ascena filed for Chapter 11 in July. The company also operates Lane Bryant, Catherines, Ann Taylor, Loft, Lou & Grey, and Cacique brands.

As part of its bankruptcy restructuring plans, Ascena said it would take its Justice brand to an all-digital platform. The retailer also closed all of its Catherines stores, but recently found a buyer for the brand in FullBeauty as part of a nearly $41 million deal, Retail Dive reported.

The Justice stores that will close are located in 13 states and have already started holding going out of business sales with merchandise up to 50% off, including its line of clothing, shoes, accessories, and toys, SB360, the firm managing the liquidation sales, said.

“The Justice stores offer a wide array of tween girl fashion merchandise and accessories at really affordable prices,” Aaron Miller, executive vice president of SB360, said in a statement. “Plus now, these stores have new arrivals of seasonal classics and new trends. We encourage customers to shop early for the very best selection.”

The company also said it expects the Justice liquidation to be a quick sale based on strong demand.
