Disney fans may be disappointed to learn that the poster floating around the internet featuring the cast of the upcoming “Hercules” live-action film is a fake.

The fake cast list includes Noah Centineo starring as the titular character, and Jodie Comer portraying the role of his love interest, Megara.

Other fake cast members include Jeff Goldblum as Hades, Danny DeVito as Philoctetes, Ian McShane as Zeus, Helen Mirren as Hera, Stanley Tucci as Hermes, Simon Pegg as Pain, and Nick Frost as Panic.

Meanwhile, the Muses are made up of Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Keke Palmer, Coco Jones, and Amber Riley.

Last month, The Hollywood Reporter announced a live-action remake of the 1997 animated film was being put into development. Joe and Anthony Russo, the names behind the “Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War” film, are set to produce the movie via their AGBO banner.

Meanwhile, Dave Callaham, whose works include the “Legend of the Ten Rings” and Marvel’s upcoming “Shang-Chi,” has been tapped to write the script.

The original animated “Hercules” movie was a musical fantasy that told the story of the Greek legend, who was voiced by Tate Donovan. After being stolen by Hades, voiced by James Woods, all of Hercules’ powers were taken away with the exception of his super strength.

The infant was then left on earth and adopted by mortals. However, his supernatural ability left him feeling different from everyone around him, and he eventually learned he was the son of Zeus.

However, he had to perform a rite of passage on Earth to prove that he was worthy of living on Mount Olympus with the other gods.

Since the new live-action film is still in the early development stages, a release date has not been revealed.
