After six years of being known as the “Radio Disney Music Awards,” the event has been rebranded as “ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration.” Although the name has changed, the event will still recognize established and rising stars in film, television and music.

The evening will be filled with awesome performances and unforgettable moments. When the ARDYs air on Sunday night, it will mark the first time the event will air live. The 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration will broadcast Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on the Disney Channel.

Fans can also stream the event on the DisneyNOW website and app. However, viewers will have to use their TV provider information to log in and stream the event. When the program airs on television, there will also be a simulcast available on Radio Disney.

The ARDYs will be hosted by “Descendants” and “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” star Sofia Carson. During an interview with Just Jared Jr., the actress shared her excitement about the hosting gig. “The ARDYs will forever and always have a special place in my heart,” the 26-year-old explained.

“My music career launched on the Radio Disney stage, where I performed my first single for the very first time, and from that moment on, Radio Disney has been by my side every step of the way,” Carson continued.

“Radio Disney is my family, and I feel so honored to take the stage on June 16th to celebrate the magic that is Radio Disney with the world.”

While Carson fulfills her hosting duties, artists like Steve Aoki, Tori Kelly, Meg Donnelly, Fetty Wap, Lovelytheband and Andy Grammer will hit the stage to pump up the crowd with their performances.

During the night, fans can also expect a special appearance by K-pop group BTS and a surprise from the Jonas Brothers.

The 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration will take place on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT at the CBS Radford Studios in Studio City, California.
