Jean Muggli may have a new claim to fame, but it’s not pretty.

Muggli, who is known for her marriage to ex-husband Michael Strahan, is now being accused of physically and emotionally abusing the couple’s kids, TMZ reports. The former NFL professional, 48, made the claims as grounds for obtaining primary custody of their twin daughters Sophia and Isabella.

Strahan reportedly has evidence of his 54-year-old ex-wife’s "pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years." In part, the “Good Morning America” host says Muggli hasn’t been taking the girls to their legally required therapy appointments and extracurricular activity events.

He plans to further detail the abuse of the 15-year-olds in sealed documents.

If Strahan, who currently only has visitation rights, obtains full custody, the girls will move out of Muggli’s home in North Carolina to his residence in New York.

Furthermore, there has been a debate between the two regarding Strahan’s child support payments. Sources connected to Muggli told TMZ that Strahan has failed to meet certain court-ordered “obligations.” Therefore she is seeking $321,654 in back child support.

In addition to that amount, Muggli claims Strahan owes her over $225,000 for his share in their daughters’ equestrian bills that have accumulated since 2017.

However, sources connected to Strahan say Muggli’s New York filing is simply her attempt to increase his monthly child support payments. Further, he denies making the agreement regarding the horseback riding fees.

The mom of two allegedly filed the same suit in New York and in her home state, but no decision has been made in either case yet.

Strahan and Muggli, who wed in 1999, split in 2006. At the end of the divorce, a judge awarded Muggli $15.3 million. Additionally, Strahan was ordered to pay her $18,000 per month in child support.
