Team Flash finally learned about Nora’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) secret relationship with Thawne (Tom Cavanagh) in the last episode of The CW’s “The Flash,” but fans will have to wait a little while longer to see how Barry (Grant Gustin) and the group deal with the revelation because there is no new episode on tonight.

Unfortunately, the superhero series won’t return until April 16, but when it does come back, viewers will get to witness not only the next chapter in the story but also star Danielle Panabaker’s (Caitlin) directorial debut.

“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be directing my first episode of television, and especially honored that it will be an episode of ‘The Flash,’” Panabaker told Entertainment Tonight. "Over the past 15 years, I have been lucky to work with many talented directors with a vast array of styles and methods. I have always loved the collaborative process, and my insatiable curiosity has lead me to watch, learn, and absorb as much as I can from those around me.”

As for what’s going to happen in Season 5, episode 18, titled “Godspeed,” that’s still being kept a bit under wraps. There’s no synopsis for the broadcast yet, but the villain Godspeed is expected to show up in the episode. Also, the trailer shows Barry and the team trying to learn as much about Nora’s association with Thawne as possible.

“This has everything from the day she arrived,” Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) says while holding Nora’s notebook.

“Read it,” Barry tells him in the promo. “From the beginning.”

Find out what they learn when “The Flash” returns with Season 5, episode 18 on April 16 on The CW at 8 p.m. EDT.
