If there's one thing that quarantine has proved, it's that celebrities are just like your average Joe -- bored. Just ask Kanye West.

The 42-year-old rapper has been observing California's stay-at-home orders with his wife, Kim Kardashian West, 39, and their four children, North, 6; Saint, 4; Chicago, 2; and Psalm, 11 months; but is reportedly “struggling to adjust” to the changes.

"One thing for sure is that Kanye’s the type of guy who can’t sit still and goes stir-crazy when he’s stuck at home," an insider told InTouch Weekly.

The insider added that the father of four has been "escaping to his studio for some peace and quiet" almost to the point where it has become his "daily routine."

The insider elaborated that his trips to the "office" aren't just for a quick few hours either. "He often won’t come home until 3 a.m.," the source said, adding that "Kim’s usually passed out in bed" after falling "asleep with the kids next to her for company."

The Yeezy designer isn't the only one struggling with the new normal. Kim is reportedly having her struggles too. During an appearance on the March 31 episode of "The View," the reality TV star came clean about being home all day with her family.

"Being at home with four kids, if I ever thought for a minute that I wanted another one – that is out," she joked. "It's been tough juggling it all and you really have to put yourself on the back burner and just focus on the kids."

Despite Kanye's rumored all-day trips, he and Kim have seemingly found the balance of allowing each other some personal time. A source shared with People on Thursday that "he let Kim have a break last week when he took some of the kids to Wyoming" and that "they have been taking turns caring for the kids."
