Despite reports claiming Meghan Markle has rubbed some people the wrong way in the last few weeks, it seems she may be on good terms with Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton.

Since Meghan married Prince Harry in 2018, the women have been rumored to be embroiled in a tense royal feud. However, the Duchesses put on a united front while attending Wimbledon that seemingly shutdown feud rumors.

Over the weekend, Meghan and Kate were spotted sitting together in the VIP boxes at Serena Williams’ tennis match. Although the ladies are rumored to be at odds with one another, they appeared to be in great spirits during the match.

Body language expert, Judi James told Mirror Online, the way Kate and Meghan interacted at the tournament hinted at a thaw in their rumored rift.

“There are echoes of their first Wimbledon together in their body language here, back when there were no rumors about rifts between Kate and Meghan, suggesting that if there has been any coldness, things could just be back on a stronger footing again,” she explained.

“Meghan’s trait of raising both her cupped hands towards her face as she talks to Kate is a cute, quasi-infantile ritual that implies a desire to show you’re chatting to a best friend and sharing your message behind a partial cut-off,” James noted.

During the event, Meghan was seated in between Kate and her sister, Pippa Middleton. James claimed the arrangement allowed the women to remain in close contact with one another.

“The pair seem to giggle together, but Meghan also shares her laughter with Kate’s sister Pippa, who appears to have been strategically placed on her other side to place her in a close unit position in the line-up,” the author said.

“Kate is also making an effort here, leaning across to create head-closeness and paying lots of eye-attention to Meghan as they chat,” James added.

Meghan’s American background and values were rumored to be the cause of the feud with Kate, who was raised in the UK.

Although the palace has not addressed feud rumors about the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge, it seems their relationship has experienced a change for the better since Meghan joined the Royal Family.
