Rihanna’s collaborations with LVMH on her Fenty fashion products and line have turned her into a successful mogul in addition to a singer and actress, but less than two years after her ready-to-wear line launched, things are being put on a pause.

The line, one of several fashion and beauty lines she has created, is being put on the back burner for now because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which Women’s Wear Daily reports hurt the luxury brand.

“Rihanna and LVMH have jointly made the decision to put on hold the RTW activity, based in Europe, pending better conditions,” a rep for LMVH told the publication.

However, many quickly felt the pause was a bad sign, with Business of Fashion indicating that part of the problem was that the line didn’t resonate with Rihanna’s fan base, though others quickly pointed out that not everything is dead with her collabs—and, in fact, her Savage lingerie label, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin lines are still intact, with more money being invested in them to continue helping them grow as well.

Others noted that it was important to Rihanna to be able to hand-select the materials for the line, which she couldn’t because of the pandemic.

Of course, there are still some fans who are more curious about whether or not the singer will continue working on her music, with some quickly taking to Twitter to beg the singer for more songs.

The singer has so far dropped eight albums throughout her career, but her last one, “Anti,” came in January 2016, making it five years since she gave fans new music. However, with the other lines and brands still growing, those fans may still need to wait.
