Shades of Blue
Ray Liotta and Jennifer Lopez star as Bill Wozniak and Detective Harlee Santos on the new NBC drama "Shades of Blue." The show premieres tonight at 10 p.m. EST. NBC

The week is almost over, but the TV premieres certainly aren’t. Your favorite shows continue to return from holiday hiatus on Thursday, along with a couple of new can’t-miss series.

Highlights for Thursday, Jan. 7, include Jennifer Lopez’ new NBC cop drama, “Shades of Blue.” Lopez stars as Harlee Santos, a New York City detective and single-mother who is struggling financially. Her life gets turned upside down when she’s “forced to work in the FBI’s anti-corruption task force.”

Meanwhile, for those looking for something a little lighter on Thursday, CBS will be premiering its new comedy, “Angel from Hell.” Jane Lynch (“Glee”) stars as a guardian angel named Amy. The catch is that the woman she watches over, Allison (Maggie Lawson), isn’t sure if she’s really her guardian angel or just some crazy person.
