The second installation of the thrilling series will star Emmy Award-winner Julia Ormond as Joanna, Jenna Dewan Tatum taking on the role of Freya, Rachel Boston portraying the character Ingrid, Mädchen Amick as Wendy, Eric Winter as Dash and Daniel DiTomasso as the role of Killian. But with a new season comes new faces. Fans will welcome a new actor to the show: Christian Cooke.

Although the press release for the upcoming season of “Witches of the East End” didn’t say what character Cooke would be portraying, we have a feeling that we already know who it is. During the Season 1 finale, fans witnessed a mystery man force his way into the realm. Fans scratched their chins trying to figure out who it could be. Our guess? – Frederick, Ingrid and Freya’s long-lost brother.

According to reports, Frederick is actually Freya’s twin brother. The reason for their separation is that Frederick opted to stay in Asgard while Joanna, Victor and Wendy were banished. But now he’s back – or at least, that’s what we think due to the hooded man in the Season 2 trailer.

The synopsis for the second season suggests the upcoming storyline will focus around darkness that spreads throughout East End when a new stranger (Cookie) arrives.

“This season, with the portal to Asgard open, what comes through will forever change the lives of the Beauchamps. Joanna is still weak with poison in her blood as the Beauchamps search desperately for a cure. With the death of Penelope, Killian and Dash’s warlock powers return.”
