World Gratitude Day is celebrated annually on Sept. 21 to be thankful to both individual citizens and organizations across the world.

It was founded in 1965 in Hawaii, when an international gathering decided it would be a good idea to have one day to formally express gratitude and appreciation to everything and everyone in the world.

World Gratitude Day has become even more meaningful as we continue to fight a pandemic. After 18 months of suffering and resilience in the COVID crisis, the day can be marked to thank everyone helping out at this difficult time.

Here are some quotes, courtesy Parade, to share with everyone.
