Cuba on Wednesday began releasing prisoners under a deal with departing US President Joe Biden to remove the communist island from a list of terror sponsors, the detainees' relatives told AFP. In his final days in office, Biden has rushed through a series of actions designed to cement his legacy, both on the domestic and foreign fronts, before handing back power next week to Donald Trump.
