A new batch of people who are challenged when it comes to their skills in the kitchen is set to try and improve their cooking ability on the 20th season of Food Network’s “Worst Cooks In America.”

The hit competition returns tonight for the 20th official season as the recruits work in teams and attend a culinary boot camp, where they will be mentored by chefs Anne Burrell and Alex Guarnaschelli. As they are split into teams, the chefs will compete in outrageous challenges, and by the end of the competition, the one who makes the biggest transformation wins a $25,000 cash prize.

Among the challenges the recruits will face, according to a press release, are making their favorite childhood dish, preparing Jamaican Jerk Chicken, a sushi-rolling and bento box challenge, a blindfolded donut eating contest, and, in the finale, the two most improved will make a three-course restaurant-level meal for judges Mary Giuliani, Julian Rodarte and James Tahhan.

  • Dolores Aguilar-Fernandez: Cypress, Texas
  • Evan Baker: Bismarck, North Dakota; According to his Facebook page, he works as an Admissions Representative at University of Mary.
  • Darian Barnes: Rahway, New Jersey. Barnes will be recognizable to football fans for his career as a fullback in the NFL, and his Superbowl 37 win with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
  • Holly Brooks: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
  • Zack Ignoffo: Chicago, Illinois. Ignoffo has worked as a model in the past. Follow him on Instagram (@zack.ignoffo).
  • Domaine Javier: San Gabriel, California. Javier can be followed on Twitter (@domainejavier) and Instagram (@domainejavier) and is best known as a representative for the Transgender community, actor and writer.
  • Jewels McIlroy: Syracuse, New York
  • Johannes “Yo” Phelps: Davenport, Iowa; According to his Facebook page, he has held jobs as a realtor and a drone pilot.
  • Ari Robinson: Simpsonville, South Carolina
  • Denise Schroder: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; According to a Facebook page, she is a real estate agent who has previously been featured on HGTV’s “House Hunters.”
  • Louisa Sharamatyan: Glendale, California; According to her Instagram account (@louisasharamatyan), she is a TV Host and Interviewer, who also competed on Season 2 of “Worst Bakers in America” in 2019.
  • Eric Smart: Los Angeles, California
  • Erin Sullivan: Mayfield, Kentucky
  • Brianna Weidenbach: Martin, Tennessee
