The Undertaker reportedly won’t be a solo inductee in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame.

It was recently announced that The Undertaker would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Several wrestling celebrities congratulated The Deadman and many believed the decorated wrestler deserved to be the sole inductee this year.

"Although the idea was in fact considered, I’m told The Undertaker will not be a 'solo' inductee at this year's Hall of Fame. Source expects additional names will be announced soon, potentially starting tomorrow," WrestleVotes tweeted. However, International Business Times could not verify it independently.

The man behind the character The Undertaker, Mark Calaway, did an incredible job across his 30-year career in the WWE Company. He was not only a huge hit in the WWE Universe but also in the mainstream.

The Undertaker held a WrestleMania winning streak at the seventh edition of The Show of Shows. He went on to triumph in 21 consecutive fights at the mega event.

The Phenom’s streak at WrestleMania grew so popular that fans from across the world began to travel to the U.S. just to watch it grow further. The Undertaker’s historic streak finally ended at WrestleMania 30 at the hands of current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Only Lesnar and Roman Reigns have managed to defeat The Deadman at the Show of Shows to date.

The Undertaker, who began his career in 1987, retired from professional wrestling in 2020. Ending his career with four WWE world titles and a Royal Rumble win, among many other titles, Calaway made his farewell appearance at 2020's Survivor Series.

The late Andre The Giant is the only wrestler to get a solo induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, according to Sportskeeda. He was the very first inductee into the Hall of Fame in 1993.

Meanwhile, the upcoming edition of WrestleMania is set to take place in April at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Fans are hoping to witness a ‘Title Vs Title’ match between Lesnar and Reigns at The Show of the Shows.

At the recently ended Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia, Lesnar won back his WWE Championship, while Reigns defended his Universal Championship.
