  • Seth Rollins defies odds to earn a title shot against current champion Big E
  • Edge may return to feud with Rollins once more
  • Rollins got the big win on the most recent episode of WWE Raw

Seth Rollins is a multiple-time world champion in professional wrestling, and it may only be a matter of time before he gets another gold-plated belt strapped around his waist once more.

Coming off a loss to Edge at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021 show, it seems the script has been flipped, and “The Kingslayer” enshrined himself as the next top challenger following the events that went down on the Oct. 25 edition of WWE Raw.

Following the WWE Draft that saw several stars change brands, Big E was looking for a new challenger.

Several Raw superstars came out to hopefully get a chance to challenge the reigning WWE Champion.

Aside from Rollins, the likes of Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio came out to pitch themselves to Big E.

With four stars wanting a shot at the gold, a ladder match was ordered. In the end, it was Rollins who came out on top when he secured the right to face Big E for the coveted WWE Championship.

It was a dramatic twist of events with Rollins being initially told that he was at the back of the line following his loss to Edge.

Rollins needed to defy the odds and managed to climb up the ladder with carnage all over.

With Rollins moving on, "The Rated-R Superstar" is likely to take a break for now and return either at WrestleMania or SummerSlam next year.

That is subject to change, but the grueling Hell in a Cell match will likely force the Hall of Famer to rest and heal for the time being.

As for Rollins, there is no telling if he can pluck the WWE Title from Big E. If he does, a new storyline could ensue once they do face off.

But regardless of how long this Big E vs. Rollins feud would last, there is a chance that Edge may re-enter the picture and go after “The Visionary” once more.

If Rollins ends up being the champion again, Edge has more than enough reason to target his arch-nemesis with bigger stakes on the line.
