  • Money in the Bank 2022 is set to take place in July
  • Roman Reigns recently became an undisputed champion
  • Reigns won the unified title after beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38

Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is reportedly set to return to action following his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38.

Lesnar, along with Reigns and many other WWE superstars, is going to feature in Money in the Bank 2022, according to PWInsider.com.

This year's Money in the Bank edition will be the biggest in the event's history as the WWE Company brings its production to Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium, a venue with a capacity of around 65,000. In order to ensure higher ticket sales for the event, WWE has to have some big draws on the card.

The WWE Company has been giving out promotional material in the Las Vegas area with a number of superstars present in the advertisements. The likes of Reigns, Lesnar, Bianca Belair, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair are all included in the advertisements, indicating that they may compete at the event.

Money in the Bank 2022, which is set to take place at Allegiant Stadium — the home venue of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders — is scheduled to be held on July 2 in Las Vegas, The Sportster reported. This year's show will mark the second consecutive year in which Money in the Bank is held in the month of July; the previous two events took place in May.

Even though it is still unclear what Lesnar's involvement in Money in the Bank would be, it is reported that his role will certainly be a high-profile one.

Lesnar recently lost his WWE Championship to Reigns at WrestleMania 38. The Tribal Chief unified both the titles and walked away as an undisputed WWE and Universal Championship on Night 2 of the "Show of the Shows" in Texas earlier this month.

The Money in the Bank event will highlight the Bank ladder women and men's fights. Both the winners will guarantee themselves a championship opportunity that can be used whenever and wherever throughout the next year.

Nikki A.S.H. and Big E won their respective Money in the Bank fights last year. The former successfully cashed in on Charlotte Flair to become the new RAW Women's Champion on an episode of RAW soon after the Money in the Bank event. Two months later, Big E defeated Bobby Lashley on RAW to win his first WWE Championship.
