Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched next week on Feb. 24 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event. However, its specifications, features, release date and price have been already revealed before its official launch.

According to Giz China, a leaked image of the specs sheet of the Xiaomi Mi 5 has confirmed its specifications and features that have been consistently leaked by the rumor mill. Times News UK has also revealed several details of the Xiaomi Mi 5 through the leaked photos of the next week’s launch presentation.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be arriving with a 5.2-inch display that will carry support for full HD resolution. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset that will clock at 2.2 GHz.

Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available in two RAM variants featuring different storage capacities. The 3 GB RAM model will come with 32 GB of storage whereas the 4 GB RAM variant will feature 64 GB of storage.

The rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be of 26-megapixel. It will arrive with a very bright f/1.6 lens that will be supported by dual-LED flash. The front-facing camera is expected to be 8-megapixel.

The smartphone will be equipped with USB Type-C that will carry support for Quick Charge 3.0. It will be the first smartphone ever to feature the latest Wi-Fi standard of 802.11ad. It will be also arriving with NFC and a fingerprint scanner embedded under the physical Home button. The Mi 5 will be packed with a massive battery of 3600 mAh capacity.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 release date has not been declared but it is expected to be available for purchase within a week of official announcement. The 3 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM variants are expected to be priced at CNY 1,999 ($306) and CNY 2,299 ($352).

Xiaomi is also expected to unleash a larger Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus smartphone. It is expected to feature 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820 and 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to cost CNY 2,500 ($383). Speculations also indicate a Windows 10 Mobile variant of Xiaomi Mi 5 will be revealed on Feb. 24.
