Chrishell Stause is making her way to Genoa City. And according to reports, the actress will shake things when she makes her debut as Bethany Bryant on the hit CBS series “The Young and the Restless.”

According to TVLine, Stause will begin stirring up drama on Wednesday, May 25, when her character finds herself stuck in a fiery family feud. And it appears that Bethany will be adding fuel to the flames as the fictional city’s newest troublemaker. The newcomer has been described as a free spirit who enjoys playing mind games and living life dangerously. And Stause, 34, revealed that she’s more than ready to take on the wild role.

“WOW,” Stause wrote on Twitter following the casting announcement. “Do you guys know how to make a girl feel special! I grew up watching Y&R w/ my mom & I can’t tell you what this warm welcome means.”

But the Kentucky born actress is no stranger to starring on a sudser. The soap star portrayed Amanda Dillon on ABC’s “All My Children” for six years before heading to NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” in 2013 where she played Jordan Ridgeway. The actress has also appeared on “Mistresses,” “Luke 11:17” and the TV mini-series “Misguided.”

Stauses’ beau, Justin Hartley, also stars on “The Young and the Restless” as Adam Newman. He joined the CBS drama in 2014 while simultaneously acting in “Mistresses” as Joss (Jes Macalland) ex-fiancé Scott.
