He’s been battling a rare blood disorder that could be fatal and has been keeping the truth from his loved ones. Now, Victor will finally let his children know what his future may hold, but the meeting likely won’t go well on the Thursday, June 13 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After learning that the treatments he’s been going through didn’t work, Victor (Eric Braden) was encouraged to reveal his diagnosis to his children on the CBS soap. Now, with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) by his side, he will prepare to let Nick (Joshua Morrow), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Adam (Marc Grossman) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) know the truth. However, getting his kids, who are all often at war with one another, together likely isn’t going to go well.

“A meeting with the Newman family members turns ugly,” spoilers reveal.

Considering all of the drama that has erupted with the Newman siblings in recent weeks, any pleas Victor makes for them all to get along for his sake likely are going to fall on deaf ears. Not only are Adam and Nick at war over Christian, but Victor wants Adam to take over as his successor, which has Victoria irked since she is the one who has remained loyal to him over the years. Victoria and Nick are also currently at odds because she gave in to Adam’s demands for money and Chelsea’s (Melissa Clare Egan) phone number, which strengthened his ability to try and take Nick’s son away from him. As for Abby, she isn’t really at war with any of her siblings at the moment, but she and Victoria have always had an acrimonious relationship anyway.

Naturally, things won’t go well with all of them together, especially when it becomes clear that Victoria wants to take over for Victor at work and he makes it evident that he wants Adam to do the job instead. Not only will Adam upset his father by turning him down, but he will also use the fact to taunt his sister that no matter what she does, she will never be number one in their father’s eyes.

In addition, Nick will once again use the moment to try and appeal to his father that he needs to stop trying to promote Adam above the rest of them—because that is bringing so many other consequences that it will lead to even more drama if he dies.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
