She kissed him after her elevator confrontation with Phyllis in the hopes that doing so would help her with her goal of breaking them up. Now, on the Wednesday, Sept. 6 episode of "The Young and the Restless," Victoria will find herself being confronted about kiss she shared with Billy.

After realizing Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was the one who sent Hochman (Ben Hermes) her way, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) confronted her romantic rival. Soon after, she went back to the Brash and Sassy office and planted a kiss on Billy (Jason Thompson), one she quickly pretended had been a spur of the moment thing. Since then, Phyllis has come clean to her live-in boyfriend about what she had done, telling him that she had only done so because she was tired of losing quality time with him to his constantly working long hours alongside his ex-wife. Billy reassured her on the CBS soap that she was the one he loved, and she agreed to stop trying to manipulate Victoria.

Now, Billy will decide to see why exactly his ex kissed him, and they will hash out what happened and what it meant.

"There's something we should talk about," Billy says in a preview clip.

"It's fine," Victoria replies.

"You don't even know what I'm going to say," Billy points out.

"The kiss?" Victoria guesses.

"Okay, you know," Billy laughs.

Victoria will once again insist that it was nothing, and when Billy tries to bring up what Phyllis admitted to him, she will also tell him that there's nothing to be concerned about as far as that issue matters, and she will also reveal that she has a new outlook on things when it comes to their plans to stay afloat as a company and hit back against anything Jack (Peter Bergman) throws their way.

Meanwhile, Phyllis will be back at Jabot and trying to move past everything as well. However, when Hilary (Mishael Morgan) arrives to discuss strategy with Jack about her promoting Jabot's products on her show over Brash and Sassy's, she will check in with Phyllis to see how things are going.

"How's it going? You winning? Or are you losing?" She asks.

Phyllis will warn her to mind her own business, but Hilary will persist that she can help. When Phyllis admits that she feels Billy is working too hard and Victoria is taking advantage, Hilary will advise her not to give up and tighten her grip on the man she loves. Phyllis will assure the TV personality that she won't let Victoria win, and she isn't letting her romance with Billy go down without a fight.

Though both Victoria and Phyllis will then outwardly make it seem like they have changed their tune when it comes to one another and their hopes they each win Billy over, the competition between the women behind the scenes will be hotter than ever before.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
