He’s been set to do battle with his sister and reestablish dominance for Jabot in the process, but he’s found himself thwarted at every turn. Now, Jack may finally discover how Ashley has been managing to beat him as he tries to track her new mole on the Wednesday, April 10 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Jabot has been in turmoil ever since Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returned to Genoa City and revealed she had been working with Kerry/Dominique (Alice Hunter) to steal all of the patents filed for new products at the company. Not only was Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) ousted and Jack (Peter Bergman) reinstated as CEO, but Ashley warned her brother she wouldn’t hesitate to go to war with him in an effort to get what she truly wants—control of Jabot for herself.

Jack refused to just hand the company over to her however after everything she has done to betray her family, and the two have since been engaged in a war to prove dominance, with an intent of the best company winning all on the CBS soap. However, Jack’s plan to remarket Jabot not only through a line of cosmetics and fragrances but as a full fashion collective, quickly fell to pieces when Ashley beat him to the punch and announced her own similar plans for her company, effectively cutting him down and forcing him to start from scratch again. Now, he’s determined to find the new mole, because he needs to know who is trying to undermine him.

“Jack’s battle with Ashley takes an interesting turn,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, Jack will have to suspect the people who knew about his plan, which will come down to mainly Billy (Jason Thompson), Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King), though he will know deep down that his son definitely didn’t sell him out and his brother likely didn’t either since he’s also been focused on getting back with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). His suspicions will quickly fall on Summer, but Kyle will likely defend his wife, who he knows wouldn’t try double-crossing him and his family since it would be a detriment to their already delicate marriage.

Finally, Jack may realize that Ashley didn’t use another person in her attempt to gain intel since that was how she initially screwed him over by installing Dominique to pose as Kerry for months. He will then turn his attention to the gift basket she sent over as a taunt—and will discover that she has been bugging him. What he does with that information could then help give him back his edge, because he will know he can use it to his advantage.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
