KEY POINTS

  • The Eldlich deck relies heavily on traps to disrupt the enemy and summon the eponymous Golden Lord
  • Eldlich the Golden Lord can revive himself as long as there are enough cards to sacrifice
  • Extra monsters like the Superdreadnoughts and Divine Arsenal Zeus can help turn the tide of a match

The Eldlich deck is recognized as one of the easier options that players can use in the current meta of “Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.” Despite its relative simplicity, this deck is able to win against even the more complex ones that are being used in competitive play today.

Here’s the core card list and a quick guide on how to play the popular Eldlich deck in “Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.”

Eldlich Permastun Card List

Most of the core Eldlich deck cards can be pulled from the Immortal Royalty secret pack, which can be unlocked temporarily by crafting one SR “Eldlich the Golden Lord” card. Once unlocked, look for the following:

    • 3x Conquistador of the Golden Land
    • 3x Pot of Prosperity
    • 3x Skill Drain
    • 3x Gozen Match
    • 3x Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine
    • 2x Torrential Tribute

    • 2x Cursed Eldland
    • 2x Eldlixir of White Destiny
    • 2x Paleozoic Dinomischus

How to play the Eldlich Deck

The main strategy of the Eldlich deck is to control the board with Gozen Match and Vanity’s Emptiness to make sure that only Eldlich the Golden Lord is on the field. Cards like Solemn Judgment can be used to prevent enemy card effects from destroying these trap cards to ensure that they remain effective.

The Eldlich can constantly bring himself back to the field from the graveyard by sacrificing a spell or trap card. Multiple Eldliches can be summoned by combining this effect with the Eldlixir cards, which makes summoning Extra Deck monsters like the Superdreadnoughts and Zeus much easier.

Monster/Trap cards like the Huaqeros and the Dinomischus are mainly used for summoning Xyz and Link monsters. They’re best used as ammunition for summoning the Eldlich from the player’s hand or the graveyard due to their own GY effects.

This deck is weak against other disruption-heavy decks like Drytron or cards with banish effects. Once all three Eldliches are banished, then the game is practically lost.
