Bringing fans joy and holiday cheer on Christmas day, director Zack Snyder once more continued to unveil a variety of different behind-the-scenes shots of 2017’s “Justice League.” As the evidence continues to pile up and Snyder stokes the fires of fan anticipation, the more it becomes clear that a “Justice League” Snyder Cut truly does exist.

As reported by ScreenRant, the director posted several unreleased black and white Snyder Cut pictures on Vero. Quoting the story of King Arthur and Excalibur, Snyder follows a specific pattern with his unreleased images, winking at fans as well as alluding to much more slated for the future.

For those unaware, the Snyder Cut itself is a “Justice League” movie variant made by the director that would, in essence, surpass the lackluster reception awarded to the original version. In developing “Justice League,” Snyder left the production after the death of his daughter, handing off his heroes to Joss Whedon to conclude. Certain “Justice League” cast members, in addition to longtime fans, have openly pushed the director to release his Snyder Cut on social media over the past few months, with #ReleaseTheSnyderCut going viral on Twitter.

The Snyder Cut news now continues, beginning on Monday with Snyder posting an image of Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds), the villain of “Justice League,” holding up one of the Mother Boxes from the film. Inside it resides the number “214,” with the director merely asking, “What is the secret of the grail?” The posting spree only continued on Tuesday with one of Batman (Ben Affleck) surrounded by smog and a caption that reads, “Who does it serve?”

On Christmas day, fans were blessed with the unwrapping of a multitude of Snyder Cut pictures, all of which were collated together into one massive collage on Reddit. While it has become seemingly clear that a Snyder Cut does exist, for Snyder himself has said so on a number of occasions and rumors of it potentially appearing on HBO Max continue to make the rounds, new mysteries have arisen:

What’s with the Excalibur quotes and how do they pertain to the Snyder Cut plot? What does the Mother Box number mean? What is the Snyder Cut runtime? And, most importantly, will the Snyder Cut ever release?

Though its potential debut remains conjecture at best, fans remain both patient and attentive as Snyder continues to tease out “Justice League” Snyder Cut images.
