Zoë Kravitz and her actor husband, Karl Glusman, decided to end their nearly two-year marriage just two days before Christmas.

The "Batman" actress filed for divorce from Glusman on Dec. 23, 18 months after they tied the knot, court documents obtained by People reveal. A rep for Kravitz confirmed the breakup to the outlet.

Not a lot of details have been revealed about Kravitz and Glusman's divorce filing, and the reason behind their split remains unknown.

The news comes months after the "Mad Max: Fury Road" star shared a black and white wedding photo on Instagram to commemorate her first anniversary with Glusman on June 29. "One year," she wrote in the caption.

Kravitz and Glusman were first romantically linked to each other in October 2016. After three years of dating, they married in 2019 at her dad Lenny Kravitz's home in Paris.

Kravitz announced their engagement in an interview in 2018. "Oh yeah, I’m engaged," she told Rolling Stone when a reporter spotted her engagement ring. "I haven’t told anyone yet — I mean, I haven’t told the world. I wanted to keep it private."

Kravitz also shared that he planned to propose in Paris but ended up popping the question in their living room. Nevertheless, she thoughts Glusman's proposal was perfect.

"He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants," she gushed.

In May last year, Kravitz addressed the questions and speculations about when she and Glusman plan to have a baby. The "Big Little Lies" star said she found the question annoying and stressed that women get asked about it more often than men.

“A lot of people ask the question, ‘When are you gonna have a baby?’ or say things like, ‘When’s the baby?’ and I really get offended by people assuming that’s something that I have to do because society says so,” she said.

“So, I don’t know. Right now, I’m certainly not in a place where I think I’m able to do that just ‘cause of work, and also just, man, I don’t know, I like my free time.”

At the time, Kravitz stressed that she was happy with her life and was in no rush to have kids with Glusman anytime soon.

Kravitz has yet to make a public statement about their split and her divorce filing. However, her recent posts on Instagram focused on enjoying the "little things" in life. Her last five posts share the same caption, which reads, "new year. little things."
