Jana Duggar is coming back to TV, but it’s not for the long term. The former “19 Kids and Counting” star has a cameo on UPtv’s “Bringing Up Bates.”

Thursday’s episode of the Bates family reality series, titled “Wedding Bliss and a First Kiss,” will show Michael Bates and Brandon Keilen exchanging vows. Jana will have a significant role in the episode, acting as one of Michael’s eight bridesmaids. The Duggar Family Blog reports that Jana was the only female bridal party member who was not a member of the Bates clan.

“I’m fixing to start the greatest adventure ever,” Michael, 26, says in a promo video for the wedding special.

While Jana, 26, is not featured in the teaser, posted below, she can be seen in several photos from Michael and Brandon’s big day, which occurred in August. One image from the ceremony, posted to the Duggar blog, shows Jana looking at Michael as she walks down the aisle.

Michael’s wedding marks the third time Jana has been a bridesmaid in recent years. Jana, who unlike a few of her younger siblings has yet to publicly enter into a courtship, was the maid of honor at her sister Jill Dillard’s June 2014 nuptials. Four months later, she was a bridesmaid at her sister Jessa Seewald’s wedding.

Jana’s appearance on “Bringing Up Bates” marks her second television cameo in the past few months. In December, she appeared on the TLC special “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.” Jana was a regular on her family’s long-running TLC series “19 Kids and Counting.” The program was pulled last year following the news of her older brother Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal.

While there has been no word of a “19 Kids and Counting” renewal from TLC, Jana was spotted filming with her siblings last month. Radar Online reported that Jana and her twin brother, John-David Duggar, were accompanied by a camera crew during a visit to a lumberyard near their Arkansas home.

The one-hour “Bringing Up Bates” wedding episode premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on UPtv.
