Angelina Jolie Oscars 2012 Versace Dress vs. Jennifer Aniston 2010 Valentino [POLL]

Angelina Jolie had all eyes on her on the 2012 Oscars red carpet. The 38-year-old mother of six flaunted her figure --particularly her right leg-- in a black velveteen, strapless Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit. She complemented the dress with Neil Lane jewelry, Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe heels and a Jaime Mascaro clutch.

Of course many were caught off-guard by Jolie's unusual poses meant to show off her right leg from under the gown. The actress made sure to stick out her long, lean limb for every photograph's snapshot. The now-infamous pose spawned a Twitter trend, a Tumblr page and an Internet meme.

But, there was something else peculiar about Angelina Jolie's Oscars red carpet appearance. Many fashion blogs noted Monday morning that Jolie's dress looked quite familiar.

It was determined that Jolie's Atelier Versace gown looked almost identical to a Valentino Couture gown that Jennifer Aniston wore to the 2010 Golden Globes.

Jennifer Aniston donned the black, one-shoulder Valentino gown with the same thigh-high split just two years ago. She paired her ensemble with delicate Versace heels and black nail polish.

Of course, everyone was quick to jump on the Angie-Jen match-up. The two, after all, have quite a history. With Brad Pitt as a common denominator, the two beauties have been linked in gossip tabloid headlines since Pitt met Jolie in 2005 on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

After Pitt left Aniston for Jolie, the two have consistently been compared by supporters of Team Angelina and Team Jennifer.

Jolie's style has, of course, been noted for its inclusion of black leather, motorcycle boots and red lipstick. Aniston is better known for her girl-next-door casual look, with shiny blonde hair and a killer figure.

Now, with photos of the two in near-identical black, thigh-slit dresses, it is almost impossible not to compare.
