Apple introduced iPhone 4S in October 2011 and the device turned out to be an amazing device thanks to Siri, Retina display and an 8 megapixel iSight camera.

After the success of iPhone 4S, smartphone fans are now eagerly waiting for the next iPhone from Apple which might be called iPhone 5. The tech giant has remained tight-lipped about its upcoming iPhone's features or release date.

Meanwhile, several concept designs of iPhone 5 have gone viral on Internet. The concept designs seem to be striking and unique.

According to rumors, iPhone 5 is expected to come with 4G LTE connectivity. Yet, Apple has not made any official announcement on the features of the upcoming smartphone.

Here's a quick rundown of the most anticipated features of the device.

4G LTE:  According to DigiTimes, iPhone 5 is expected to include the 4G LTE feature.

A5 chip: The smartphone is rumored to come up with the A5 chipset on the power-efficient 28 nanometer manufacturing process. It could be more feasible to use A5 rather than A5X chipset. Since A5X chip is not suitable for smartphones, Apple could also adopt the A6 quad-core processor.

Better Battery: This time, Apple is more focused on providing a better battery for iPhone 5. Speculations are rife that the upcoming iPhone would possess 4G LTE feature. Hence, the battery performance should be enhanced for sure.

iOS 6: Apple has always introduced the latest software or the upgrades with its new product launches. With iPhone 4S, Apple released iOS 5 and at the iPad press event March 7, the tech giant released iOS 5.1. Hence iPhone 5 could debut with iOS 6.

Face Recognition: According to rumors, iPhone 5 is expected to include the enhanced face recognition feature. It would recognize multiple faces at a time and highlight them when the photos are being taken.

Release Date: iPhone 5 is expected to make its debut in September/October.
